Tea is one of the most popular drinks in the world. A statistic shown, after water tea is the second consuming drink all over the world. Beside this tea has many elements which make a shield in our body from many diseases. So tea is the most popular natural drink to all classes’ people. Many myths are in vogue for the people which are clinically rejected. Here some myths are described. 

Use milk and sugar spoiled the quality of tea

Flavonoid is an element which found in tea. Flavonoid is a vegetable element commonly found in the flora of Poly-phenol plant. It’s not a nutrition element but important for health for its natural advantages. Such as, relief from smarting pain, ruined cancer cell, stable vascular function, gradually reduces the oxidation process of LDL cholesterol. People think that milk protein diminish the activity of flavonoid. So drink tea with milk we get less flavonoid in the body. But researcher said that at least 25% milk adds in tea doesn’t create any effect of the activity of flavonoid. Then again, adding milk in tea doesn’t make any effect in our body to absorb flavonoid. But milk increases the calorie content of tea which fall our teeth in risk.

Drink tea more than five cups is not safety

Are you anxious about drinking tea? A meta-analysis shown 3 or more cups of drinking tea is good for heart function. So at least 8 cups of tea are ensuring safety limit of caffeine.

Caffeine of tea is injurious for health

Tea contains 50% caffeine than coffee. Such as 200 ml black tea assumes 50 mg caffeine. Same quantities of green tea contain less than 50 mg of caffeine. Prominent researcher said everyday 1 to 8 cups of tea is the safe limit of caffeine in our body. Doctors’ advice is every day 38 mg -400 mg caffeine helps mind refresh, increase brain activity and physical stability.

Tea creates effect on mood 

Drink tea refreshes mood this belief in vogue is really true. Recently a research shown an amino acid name Thiamin found in tea helps to get serenity. The limited caffeine in tea relieve tiredness and elated temper.

Green tea is good than black tea

Green tea and black tea come from the same tree and both are useful for health. An overall measure of flavonoid is same in green and black tea. Green tea helps to reduce weight and prevent cancer. Black tea improves cardiovascular and mental health.

Tea cannot  fulfill water  demand in our body

Tea can be supplementary of drinking water. Recently a clinical research says that every day 4 cups of tea fulfill the same measure of water demand in our body.


Tea is not safe for children


Tea without sugar is a healthy drink. So children can drink tea. Canadian researchers said, 4 - 6 years old children can take 45 mg caffeine, 7-9 years old children can take 62.5 mg caffeine and 10-12 years old children can take 85 mg caffeine. For that children can drink at least one cup of tea.
